The U.N. General Assembly called for the 31st time on the United States to end its decades-long trade embargo against Cuba as the communist-run island suffers its worst economic crisis in decades, with shortages of food, fuel and medicine.

The promotion of universal human rights and a person’s right to speak freely, peacefully assemble, and associate, and by supporting the ability of people to freely determine their future. The common stuff. The stuff Russia, Iran and North Korea don’t do. The stuff Cuba is pretty terrible at.
