What the fuck, a tabbed browser? I was sure that Gmail came before tabs.
Y’all remember when you had to just have a ahitload of browser windows open?
Firefox always has tabs, in fact even the Mozilla Application Suite had them since 2001. Gmail came out 3 years later. Though I would have thought that there were about 5 years between these events
That’s because Firefox came from Netscape Navigator which had tabs back in NN7. IE eventually did as well, but I think they usually were behind in features and them working well.

In 2004 I emailed Quake III arena to myself using gmail and loaded it onto my schools computers so I was very grateful for the storage they provided
