Ah, the old !lemmaroo 😂
Hold my third-party clients, I’m going in
Isn’t there supposed to be a link to… somewhere? I never found out where it went, but I remember there were links…
Yeah, there are… But I don’t think this is a proper switcharoo so I didn’t put one.
tried starting this at the height of the switch and got berated for it
Berated?? Why?! It’s just having a bit of fun 😂
no idea, maybe just veteran redditors not wanting old trends to come back
You’d think they’d want it to feel like home with all the traditions… And switcharoo was still going strong even when the API disaster happened.
I just told my kids where the presents are, and that they are more than welcome to ruin Christmas for themselves if they wanted to.
Interesting play! Let me know how it goes (and what age?)
I’ve done it for years. They avoid the present hiding place like the plague. :) I suspect my oldest ruined her Christmas once, but that’s all it took. My youngest is very good at delayed gratification.
I wish my parents had done this. I was always afraid of accidentally stumbling over the Christmas presents and ruining the surprise.
Fish heads, fish heads, rolly-polly fish heads
Eat them up, yum.

I think it is a crime that you did not include a link to the post. It’s on the fediverse, it’s not that hard to find

I like to think I’m somewhat of an investigator myself.
Oh they’re getting a puppy!! Oh wait… no!

Pro parenting tip: If your kids keep finding the presents you’ve hidden, put them in the attic. Don’t forget to feed them while they’re up there.

“Want an actual parenting tip? Start talking to your baby like their a normal person very early on. Talking to them like they’re a baby just makes them act like a baby.”
First I have to buy my kids presents and now I have to feed them too?? What’s next?
