What’s that one app on your phone that is utterly invaluable to you specifically. Maybe it’s got a super small use-case, but for you, and you alone it’s absolutely invaluable.

I’ll get us started…

Stitch Photos

It’s a small all that allows me to stitch photos together. I usually use it to stitch screenshots together. It’s got a nice interface and is absolutely fantastic at the one thing I need it to do.

What about you?

Pretty standard, but Google Keep. It’s great for sharing lists (shopping travelling etc.). I like how you can pin a list to the top and also the check boxes.

For my Retroid Pocket 3 Plus Obtainium has been so good at keeping my emulator hoard up to date.

Never even considered that. But, my handheld is an older one that doesn’t run Android. I’ll remember that next time I’m looking for an upgrade.

Syncthing. It allows you to simply sync folders between multiple Phones / PCs over the network. It works really well and kinda made cloud services obsolete for a lot of usecases.

It’s maybe a niche thing, but I use Unifed Remote a lot. It runs easily as little server on my various computers, and let’s me use my phone and smart watch as a control for them. Mostly used to control media (watching movies, adjusting white noise volume for sleep) but also work (controlling presentation, etc). It’s has various remotes from keyboard and mouse to just a simple media start/stop/volume/etc up to a remote screen display.

I sure there’s other apps out there that are similar, but it’s always just worked for me and seems simple enough for what I do. I paid for the full version (not sure if I even use any paid features, the basic had most of what I use) but if there’s a good Foss alternative out there I’d be happy to try it!

Findroid - For watching and syncing my Jellyfin library to my phone to watch films and TV on my commute.

Newpipe - I use to sync YouTube videos offline and background play etc.

Spectdroid - I’m a sound designer and having quick access to spectral info is great.

Mini Piano Pro - Always using this to check what key a track is or what a note is.

Fitbit - I use this to track my macros for my weight training.

Kiwi Browser - Browser with Adblock and chrome plugins. I guess I use this a lot to access the front end management apps on my home server.

Genius Scan - Really good pdf scanner.

    Tuner (Boss) - Guitar tuner.

Total Commander - Good file manager for my network.

    Termux - Terminal emulator.

I think those cover the jist of the question. I like apps like Ampere but don’t think they quite fall into the category you’re enquiring about. I imagine the niche side of your request would put Spectdroid as number one, a bunch of the others are pretty obvious after rereading your question.

Setting up a Pi-hole is on my TO-DO list, but meanwhile I can’t live without Blokada 5 to get rid of ads, and also LibreTube.
