Swen Vincke, the brain behind Baldur's Gate 3, has not let success get to his head, as he knows Palworld is going to win in the long run.

They are indeed great games! But these things are big differences. I’ve started DOS2, but haven’t played much so far since it didn’t pull me in, probably due to “worse” introductions to the characters.
