    It’s unfortunate that your instance is still on lemmy 18.5, as the newer releases introduced ‘Scaled’ sorting as an option, which boosts the weight of posts from smaller communities, which can help inject some more interesting and varied content in your feed.

    But if it’s just that the ones you’re subscribed to aren’t posting enough interesting stuff, well, that is unfortunate. Lemmy is still in its early stages, which generally means it’s still just the nerds doing the early adopting. As it grows, it will likely get better in that regard.
