    • If so, he states that he is concerned that ddgo would start deanonymising people which is currently bs (afaik).
    • he states that ddgo probably puts malware into the search engine. What? Seriously?
    • moreover, he said “since they got exposed”. Ddgo or librewolf? Probably ddgo, ddgo publicly announced the deranking of rt. They were not really exposed.

    I really wonder why you shared his video? How did you even get to see that video?

      I shared it because it’s a recent video, and I wanted something to say ‘hi’ with:) But it’s a topic I hear more often so it’s not completely crap. Mental Outlaw, a much more serious Youtuber, also denounced ddg.

        Are you serious? I don’t care how popular someone is. I can create my own view of the world.

        It looks like you are supporting the butchering of ddgo. What’s your suggested alternative? Brave search?

          Well gosh, you read a lot into my motivations based on a Hello World post. Thanks for that. Note to self: YouTube video’s with people sharing their opinion is evil on Lemmy. Also, don’t discuss search engines, or basically anything else here.
