UPDATE 2.50pm UK: "Nintendo UK has now confirmed to Eurogamer it will not be present at this summer’s Gamescom. The company’s statement is below:

“Gamescom is a great event, and each year we evaluate whether Nintendo should participate or not,” a Nintendo UK spokesperson told Eurogamer. “After careful consideration from all perspectives, we’ve made the decision not to be present at gamescom 2024. Players will have opportunities to try out Nintendo Switch games at other events throughout the year.”

    TPC did go too far in that instance, though it was a fan event, not a birthday party, but still, I agree with you there.

    As for Nintendo, that is just a satirical site, so let’s ignore that, and not go into hypothetical.

    Still, no matter how much we like (or dislike) any company, they aren’t our friends. The only goal of a company is increase profits, and if we think the way they are doing isn’t fair, then we should definitely vote with our wallets.

    You are more than welcome to raise awareness of Nintendo’s issues in the community, just keep it friendly with other people who may or may not share your opinions. As the rules state, no hate-speech or personal attacks on anyone.
