Well pretty nice except for paid app that don’t work under calyx otherwise it feel reply nice to not have additional layer on android . (and no in app ads that s cool)
Really? Which apps don’t habe ads anymore after the switch? I perdonally just don’t use apps with ads (all apps from F-Droid), so this is rather new to me.
Well for example I use sync for lemmy in free version and I don’t have any ads . but I can t use sync ultra because that an in app paid option , and since I don’t have the google services on my phone that don’t work.
Sync was a popular 3rd app for reddit and I used it until they block it after that I came from reddit to lemmy when there was only jerboa .
When sync for lemmy came out I re switched to it because I was more familiar with the ui .
I chose Graphene, but i should have chosen Calxy aswell… How is your experience?
