By 2050, the practice of using renewable energy to electrolyze water and create hydrogen fuel could become a global market of well over $1 trillion, according to a new report by Deloitte.

Looks like a lot of this will be driven by steelmaking, fertilizers, etc. I still have reservations when it comes to hydrogen fueled passenger vehicles and home heating. The economics for that just don’t quite make sense to me.
