I saw this community on the trending list. Is Neocities supposed to be a throwback to the days of Geocities, Anglefire, and other similar webpage hosts?

Sorta yea! Some sites are very old internet aesthetic to match, and some are more modern web or experimental.
I think so, it would be weird if it wouldn’t.
