Its Monday still but last week was pretty good. Friday night was fun. Went to dinner with my parents and my older sisters family. Pretty good Mexican food. Then Saturday morning I played dnd with my friends and two new players joined the party. That was fun but frustrating cause this was the first season we’ve played with the new rules. My monk is way better now though. Being able to block attacks is super handy.
My new puppy.
He’s handsome boy.
I was finally officially diagnosed with ADHD after knowing I had it for a long time. Top 7% of severity according to the automated test and someone diagnosed me after an hour on telehealth as well.
Working out in the yard with my sons. Yard work sucks, but it sucks less with the two best people in the world.
Seeing my friends 💕
Getting some interaction in real life. Di#co#d sometimes makes me too worried about people who I never saw in real life, social interation makes me somewhat hopeful for the future.
Was at a party on Friday and there’s new opportunities for making music now because of some connections there.
Challenged myself to make coq au vin for the first time, and it turned out fantastic.
A friend of mine came over for D&D and I really girlmoded for the first time and it was so nice. She taught me about eye makeup! Got to be the person I want to be.
That’s lovely!
I would like to congratulate everyone posting on their wonderful experiences!
This last week, I had been feeling a little down about myself, but an absolute stranger stopped me to tell me I was beautiful. An old friend of mine is going to come stay with me to start a new life and I could not be more excited and honored to be a part of it. I was worried that my mother might have been unwell, but she received a clean bill of health. Also, I ordered and received an awesome t shirt for The Shining.
My wife. She went up and volunteered in West NC this weekend. She’s a psychologist by trade but they needed care package assembly workers and childcare. In the meantime I got to bond at home with our youngin.
It’s been a wild ride up there, but our neighborhood has a road again. Lots of loss all around, but it’s been inspiring that we as a collective national community still take care of each other during the worst of times.
