    I find that using this kind of language can be very effective in disarming online arguments that are becoming aggressive.

      It’s a shame that some people view it as a weakness. We’d probably be traveling through space at warp 9 right now if others would use this kind of language.

      I enjoy it when I talk to someone and they make a counter argument that I can agree with. Sure, validation is cool — but have you ever changed your minds and grown as a person?

    Say what you will about Reddit, it’s the only Internet place I’ve ever seen someone admit they were wrong.

    Lemmings, as the most opinionated version of Redditors, will dig in and argue that allying with Nazi Germany is cool and fine when Finland does it, because Finland Good Place in 2024 and therefore could never make a national mistake ever.
