Look into East Germany right now. People who experienced a pseudosocialist dictatorship, where Putin was stationed as a KGB officer, will now lick Putin’s boots. Apparently they want to be controlled by Moscow again.

    It’s pathetic.

Maybe something failed to deliver for the people there that made them lose faith in Western institutions?

Some quality of life factors that didn’t appear in the metrics we track? An overall shift in role or relevance?

If you’re not connecting with an audience, there’s more to fixing it than berating said audience and acting surprised when they’re not interested in what you’re pushing.

We’re talking about people who want to be angry instead of informed. No amount of creating a good reality has an impact on their world view because these people don’t deal in facts and reality.

Ignorance is bliss, it apparently is due in part to how western news is not filtered, or at least is filtered differently ðan in ð soviet days, and is as a result, a lot more stressful to viewers.

Ðey have a nostalgia for media censorship because being bombarded wið daily crime statistics and corruption scandals harshes ðeir mellow.
