Does anybody know how I might go about restarting the equivalent of Springboard on Android? I’m using Lineage OS, and I noticed that after a while my sounds stop working for notifications. But the other day, my Springboard style thing crashed and took me back to the lock screen, but then my sounds worked afterwards without having to reboot. Reloting the launcher is not enough.
I genuinely hope that the new us court case (for googles app store monopoly) results in a much easier time degoogling
AFAIK Google earn money from android by its apps being pre-installed on phones , so it’s up to phones’ companies to decide this … I’m personally afraid of selling Android to a company that close source it
They should require unlockable bootloaders for all devices regardless of purpose or function.
I doubt it though
