As predicted:
Trump named Gaetz to cabinet position giving him an excuse to step down as rep, the ethics report can then be withheld since he is no longer a Congressman facing accusations, he then withdrawals from the cabinet position so it doesn’t come up in confirmation hearings.

But he also won reelection this year. So ostensibly he could return on Jan. 20th but would be a member of the house again and they could release the reports.
