When I was 18 I got pulled over for failing to stop at a four way stop.
The only thing is, the stop sign was right after you go over a hill to cross some railroad tracks. I had seen the police car behind me but kind of far, and I had a feeling he was going to try this so when I stopped, I stayed sat there for like two minutes (no other cars) so he could also go over the hill and see me.
He took his sweet time to get to me, but by the time he did I was finally making my turn through the intersection. I explained that I’d stopped for 30 seconds (didn’t want it to sound too extreme) but that asshole still ticketed me.
Cop lied on an evidence report against me once.
