Honestly, I’m not mad, its just funny how state/corporate sponsored violence is all okay but a pleb making a joke (its not even a real threat c’mon) is not okay.

It improved quite a lot since 0.18.3.

I always feel like Beehaw are in a weird spot. Either keep using Lemmy to keep up with the new features for both the mods and the users, or switch to Mbin or Piefed, they are viable options.

This in between is just strange.

If I recall correctly its admins are considering to move it to SubLinks, once it gets ready enough.

I’m on the Sublinks Matrix, the project has come to a halt. That’s why I said that if Beehaw admins wanted to switch, Piefed and Mbin are much better options

That’s sad :( any specific reason why?

Mbin so far looks promising to me

Lead dev got personal priorities, no one took over as a project manager.

We have to keep in mind that text-based forums are declining in popularity across the general population.

Lemmy has 2 full-times devs, and 3 additional contributors.

            Mbin is 2 devs.

Piefed is 1 main dev and 1 additional contributor.

That’s the number of devs we are talking about, for a 45k monthly active users community.
