    Thesis: Dreamcast was the best.

Anti-Thesis: Dreamcast almost cost SEGA their entire business.

Syn-Thesis: Hassan Nasrallah is playing Dreamcast 2 in Paradise.

No, I will not elaborate. Do the work.

Meanwhile I, because my parents despised video games, played the sega megadrive until the final days of the Playstation 2.

A console with no save function. I think this may be where my love of roguelikes and old, abandonware games came from (cause I also used to download old, abandoned games; also emulators for the gameboy); also my patience with less than AAA graphics.

I wish it could have happened. I absolutely adored our Dreamcast. It had a good balance of solid titles to the weird/quirky kinda games that ended up minor cult classics(like Seaman).

I know some of the best titles ended up making their way over to the GameCube, and for some they are the technically better version, but it lacks those little extras that are hard to impossible to replicate, like the VMU features. There was a lack of that tactile experience that I don’t think any console since has matched.
