As an extreme of you offer to take one dollar for the Tesla there would be plenty of potential takers because a cars a car. Selling used for cheap also puts pressure on new car demand.
Assuming you can sell the Tesla, doesn’t that just mean that there are just as many people looking to buy a Tesla?
