    we as a society didn’t build capitalism from the ground up, and capitalism was always supposed to have a boot constantly on our throats. theres nothing being “knocked down”, capitalism isnt going anywhere. there was never democracy in capitalism in the first place.

    they are just taking away the comforts they themselves conceded to us before.

      The American capitalist society we built is more than that. That is what is being knocked down.

        what you are probably referring to is not capitalism, they would never destroy the source of their own power. its the new deal-era soviet-inspired social security net. capitalism is what remains after they are done.

        and you only got that because people were getting angry at the capitalists and were organized enough to have actual leverage. they are destroying the island of socialist policies you had.

          Its not a part of raw capitalism, but capitalism doesn’t exist in a vacuum, and it absolutey is a part of the capitalist system that America has built.

            theres no such thing as “raw capitalism”. the political economic system is either capitalist or not.
