It’s a streaming platform from the makers of the Transylvania International Film Festival (TIFF) organizers. It’s currently only available in Romania, but I guess a VPN will do (or kindly ask them to support the entire Europe as a response to Trump). You won’t find the big budget Hollywood blockbusters, rather it’s more dedicated to independent filmmakers. Could also be useful if you’re looking to break free from American cultural products.

Thanks for sharing. I’ll be sure to try it out next month.

At the moment I’m trying out Arte (French) and Play Suisse (Swiss; you’ll need a vpn for this one). Both of them are free and I’m surprised by the quality of service. I also discovered some great bangers there. The two inconveniences I found are the identity card requirement for Arte to access all of their catalogue (some of the stuff is age restricted) and the fact that Play Suisse is region locked for whatever reason.

Yeah, well, from my experience TIFF Unlimited really is like Netflix, albeit with less restrictions (i.e. you can still share the account)

You might also try TV5 Monde. Focused on French language content and no subscription required. (I think not even a login)
