      Some of them even thought we went too far. The only reason we aren’t horrified by our US history of slavery and genocide is that it remains the status quo.

            Man, I hope you live in the US at least, because in that case the pending diambiguation will happen spontaneously.

            Coming from a place that was under a fascist regime within living memory I have to say, this sense of entitlement used to piss me off more, and I am mildly worried at how much I’m dissasociating from this one. I feel like watching US cosplay leftists in 2025 is like being in a massive car pileup, you just go blank until it’s done and check if anyone survived after it’s over.

              Ahh yes, entitlement is when a leftist laments having no representation in their government. How dare we be so entitled as to wish for an anti-colonial and anti-genocide political party.
