Former German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel has suggested that the West should increase the deployment of American medium-range missiles in Europe, while also offering a disarmament proposal to Russia as a countermeasure.

Disarmament would be awesome if it didn’t go against the fundamental nature of the state, empire, colonialism, capitalism, etc.
This suggestion isn’t just bad but completely idiotic and most likely harmful for the whole Europe.
This sounds like Merkel’s appeasement approach to Russia all over again
