Hi and welcome !

I haven’t finished sidebar links and we are just starting. Here is the ideas box ! I have some ideas for this community. And i would like to listen to your idea. :)

As you already know, there are already plenty “fediverse” communities. So let’s try to create something else. It will be very hard but i would like to give a try.

It could be :

  • your user experience, how you arrived on the fediverse, what changed in your interraction.
  • some guide to help news users
  • Maybe some essay about moderation. What can we change. Maybe we could remove completly the voting system and imagine a new one based on tags ?
  • how can we setup a system where we can help each others between sysadmins, or funding.,.for example there is the french NGO Chatons. It’s a collective of hoster.

Welcome! Can you imagine, years ago how the internet was before? We know Facebook, Twitter, Tiktok, Youtube. We knew blogger, Tumblr, Skyrock... and long before, it was the forum era as phpBB and mail-lists.

And now with ActivityPub, we are reshaping the web, and achieving much with lots of freedom. So thank you all, and welcome 🤟😁

    If you need mods for the community, i don’t mind helping. Thank you for creating this comm btw snoopy :)

    And as always, if people prefer the LW or the ml versions, that’s fair, that’s why we have the Fediverse

        I would also add the ability to remove downvote as beehaw do. On some of my communities it would be very cool. Anyways it will solve the problem of unhappy users with some concent and languaqe. :)

    it would be nice to be able to block a community from the All feed without having to go to that community’s page to click the Block button
