The hooded figures aren’t an accidental design choice. Plenty of Magic artists have toyed with dark or macabre elements, but very few have ventured into imagery that aligns so closely with hateful groups. Harold McNeill, the artist behind Invoke Prejudice, has been linked to white supremacist ideologies in other works, and that connection makes the Magic community even more uncomfortable.
