      I love how it seems that the entirety of the US refers to it as “lockdown,” despite most retailers being open for business, Karen bringing all 6 kids with her to Walmart, Kyle assaulting anyone who even looks like they suggest that he wear a mask, and legions of “essential workers” being treated like shit on all sides.

      Sure, “lockdown.”

        For lower class America, it was the same old work but with wild new danger.

        For middle class America, it was lockdown and work from home. For some reason, even though only about 20% of Americans did this, it permeates the zeitgeist as Total Lockdown.

        For upper class America, they partied behind closed doors and paid extra for the feeling of secluded and rare in-person events.
