Is there an easier way to get clothing for a prisoner than drafting a pawn and having them strip in the cell before walking naked back to the cloths storage?

I’m so sorry, I try not to grammar nazi but I had to read this 5 times to understand: you want “than”, not “then”. I thought you were asking how to more easily recreate a very specific humiliation kink of yours or something (no judgement).

      This.

I tend to have a critical importance 1x1 cell for storing tribal wear. Can be a waste if masterwork clothes end up there, but its not like I was keeping it for anything but backup for new colonists and such.

Tribal wear is good idea. I usually think pants and shirt and that’s harder to coordinate.

It’s easy enough to restrict the quality level of the item allowed there. Unfortunately, iirc, tribal wear is one of the higher-value goods (per unit of material) to craft and you can’t directly set a preference on the type of material or overall value when designating a storage space.

The main thing is that you (outside of mods, obviously) can’t force a prisoner to put it on. I’ve had people spend days being obstinately naked rather than putting on the clothing I had so generationally provided.

Pretty much what the other people said. I have mine automatically strip on capture. Pretty sure that’s a mod. Then once they wake up they will equip a jumpsuit for themselves. I normally give them full leather gear on a few shelves in the prison barracks / hospital (this contrasts with the flak armor I equip all my pawns with) so I can easily see who was recently captured once they do integrate into the colony. Makes it way easier to manage equipment.

I mostly can’t figure out how to keep them alive. Melee attacks kill them nearly as fast as guns.

Maybe I need blunt weapons, but I figured fists were pretty blunt.

The nicer the barracks is the less likely they are to prison break. Also the fewer of them. The less likely they are to prison break

Imagine going from sweaty tribal life to a air-conditioned good quality hospital beds with fine quality meals you don’t want to revolt at that point you want to join those people.

I also give my prisoners books and radio to keep mood up and granite batons are issued to guards when prisoners get annoyed.

I give them decent cells, but I’m having trouble downing them without killing them. I recall in the past it was easier, but I’ve been away for a year or two. Before the Bio DLC for certain.

Guns kill too fast, and apparently so do spears, and most recently but-stroking is also too deadly. We need some sort of tech specifically for live capture.

The vanilla enhanced mod has tasers.

Personally, I try to keep one husky per colonist as a good ratio. And nothing puts down a prison riot quicker than 30 Huskies charging into the prison to bite and scratch…

And since I have a hospital just for prisoners in the prison, it’s pretty easy to carry them across the floor to the beds.

Interesting. I haven’t seen any husky yet. (Aside from the original drop, sometimes) appreciate the advice.

I’d love to know this as well I prefer mine to be in jump suits. Warm, only one piece of clothing, and looks better but for the life of me I can’t get them to wear them half the time.

Man Rimworld does make you sound like a psychopath out of context

I did some hunting and someone said that This mod is a decent enough work around. You do an operation on the prisoner. A operation to put clothes on them. I haven’t tested it but I’m hoping it works.
