This is a aspect inherent to the conservative vs progressive mind set. This is an extreme over simplification, like really extreme and doesn’t really apply to Trump, but here goes:
If your side wants things to stay the same, that’s it. You’re done formulating views.
But, if you want things to change, now you have to answer the question of what needs to change and how.
I try and make clear any significant changes i make to a post.
It’s more important when someone has already replied, but i tend to do it even when no one has in the same way i use my blinkers while driving, even if no one is around.
