That’s fair criticism. In the comic at hand, you’re right, they’re not a non-existent strawman, as this strawman does exist. The apt critique for this specific comic is more about how blaringly obvious the conclusion that is being presented as revelatory is, so I shouldn’t have used the word “non-existent” in this specific critique.
