Van Gogh was never really financially successful during his lifetime. It shouldn’t really be up to us to decide if it’s good or bad for all time. I agree that art should be preserved. But, I’m also a data hoarder lol
the Holocaust could have been averted if Hitler was allowed to be an artist, even though he wasn’t very good at it by the standards of his contemporaries.
70% of games with online requirements are shit anyways, so who cares.
All art should be preserved, even if it’s bad

Maybe Van Gogh would be considered a mediocre artist with some rare masterpieces if all of his artwork would have been preserved. Who knows…
I agree with both statements.
Meh.
Not sure I agree. I get the sentiment, but garbage should be discarded.
We have to be able to learn from the garbage and why it was garbage.
I don’t think you understand the scale of art that is created every minute of every day.
Yes, art should be preserved when possible and shouldn’t be intentionally destroyed. But not all art could even be preserved, it just isn’t possible.
Hitler was an artist. There are plenty of bad artists that shouldn’t have work preserved.
Why so? Everything should be preserved regardless of who made it.
His art was mid, and he was obviously a monster. We should still preserve his art.

Art has value even if it is “bad”.
These type of videogames (and most types to be fair) are not art, only consumer products.
