The super low stuff is genuinely relaxing. N = only 1 but there you have it. I can tell the difference between silence and a relaxing sound that is kneading on my brain

Are sound baths nothing but placebo as well? Theres nothing at all to them?

I tried listening to a musical piece centered around it a while back. And while the phenomenon is definitely there, producing a recognizable tune, the unpleasantness of two high pitched sinewaves is simply not worth it.

It’s interesting as a concept, but as music it is terrible. I prefer listening to music that does not invoke the resonant frequency of my skull.

    Look into The Gateway Tapes.

The institution that made the tapes discovered the phenomenon of binaural beats, and there are declassified documents from a certain 3-letter entity detailing its possible uses. The bottom line is, binaural beats can have some therapeutic/spiritual benefits, under properly controlled conditions, but you’re not going to learn a new language or quit smoking by using them.
