image of text (lacking alt text) that could have been plain text
breaks accessibility, search optimization, fault tolerance

How about kindness considerate of those who can’t read unnecessary images of text?

One step further, we need you to join the fight. We don’t need people to aim a gun or dehumanize enemies, in fact we need the opposite. We need people to build a better world, and the powerful stay in power by keeping us separated so that they can take advantage of our talent. Many very well intentioned people lose themselves in the politics and in the struggle, in categories of enemies and threats, lose themselves in determination. We need those people too, and there’s lots of work for them.

But our empathy is a power that has kept the world from destroying itself for thousands of years, its been the connective tissue that stitches us together. It’s time for the communicators, for the feelers, for those who are motivated by inaction to rise up, speak up, and find each other, find mentors, and be mentors. Not to put too fine a point on it, but we are our only hope.

It really sucks being that person, though. The heart can only handle so much. Recently had a litter of kittens get abandoned near my house, and only one of them survived. It hurt so bad to watch the others struggle but ultimately not make it in the end.

I will never stop caring for the animals around me where I can. I owe them a debt I can never repay. People, though…

Yes, feed those stray dogs, make them feel like owners of the place. They will tear a kid here and there. Nice. Witchy.

Harm per presence is actually looking pretty darn good compared to cars, not to mention other humans. And if looking at certain nations and cultures where “strays” are historically not seen as such, but as communal protectors, where people are culturally aware of how to treat and coexist with them, they’re often if not widely regarded as a major net-benefit.

Stray dogs have every bit as much right to be there as random humans.

They don’t, actually, in most cases. Especially in the cities. They contribute nothing good to the cities. Just shit, noise and danger.

Ability? We do things that increase our comfort because we can. But you can live in the forest. I don’t object.

I am an engineer. I can use logic. And I know when empathy should be used. And to what extent. And when it shouldn’t at all.

I’m suspecting that you’re masking the usual dog hate as unusual rationality to legitimize it. don’t want to presume, so let me ask you straight: How do you feel about traffic in residential areas? Just to make sure that you actually do allocate your attention to problems rationally, based eg on their severity.

                  spoiler

There’s also the mystery of how either of us, engineers that use logic, ended up in the “Witchy Memes” sub.

No one cares about your profession, nor does being capable of thinking logically magically get bestowed upon you, as you have demonstrated above. This is not about one-upping you, I genuinely believe you are empathetically disabled, based on your comments. So seek help, maybe?
