the last time i used it was on a phone which i bought with froyo and updated to gingerbread. but even then it was just crap filled with shovelware.
yeah, yeah probably relevant for non-techy people who still hold onto their fire tablets which they didnt instantly jailbroke.
Back in those Gingerbread days, Amazon were basically doing the Epic Games thing where every other week they’d release a paid app or game for free. It was worth tolerating the crappy app store just for that!
It’s still around for their Fire devices, just not Android in general. Otherwise, all Fire TV, Fire Tablets, and Fire Phones would be useless.
