while i still lived at home, my mother would handle the morning feeding, and since she was always a super early riser, it didnt bother her that much.
when i moved out and got my own cat, the one thing i changed was moving the feeding time to the evening. then, years and years later, my sister got a cat and discovered an even better trick. random feeding times!
of course, if you have a cat who’s been trained to expect food in the morning, you’re this aint gonna help.
