Has a previous president ever done this in the history of the United States since the inception of the Secret Service?
Trump had ended Secret Service protection for John Bolton in his first term after he fell out with him. In Bolton’s case, that’s quite significant, due to Iran.

The US is offering a $20m (£15m) reward for information leading to the arrest of an Iranian man accused of plotting to assassinate Donald Trump’s former National Security Advisor John Bolton.
Shahram Poursafi, a member of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), is accused of trying to hire criminals in the US to kill Mr Bolton, a vocal Iran critic, in exchange for $300,000.
Biden had reinstated Bolton’s Secret Service protection when Biden was in office. As soon as Trump got back in, he cut it off again.
With any luck Trump won’t be needing it for much longer either.
Every headline about actions he takes could be replaced with “Petty Little Bitch Makes Petty Little Bitch Move” and be no less accurate.
Calling him a petty bitch doesn’t stop him from fucking up the United States forever.

Still shitty though.
He probably didn’t realize she had a special extension until now.
Better believe they’ll make an extension for Mango Musilini after he refuses to leave office and gets ejected (as we all know will happen)

That doesn’t really encourage the VP to do much while in office.
They dont really have the authority to do anything right? Their one job is to be a backup president. It’s like saying an actor’s second didn’t have any lines in the play (because the actor was there to say them all)
I mean just compare Kamala’s VPresidency to Vance’s.
Tbh I can’t name one thing she did do, but I do know she wasn’t in the news for constantly going on vacations around the world, fucking couches, and generally being a shitty person.
