EDIT: Thank you so much to those who contributed, this is a big weight off my mind and now I can continue with all my medical treatments!

You’ve probably read my previous posts about how I need to get my landlady’s car repaired and pay for petrol. It’s necessary for getting to my hospital appointments. Otherwise I’ll have to spend what I’ve been given on hospital transport/taxis to my appointments and when it’s gone, I will have to cancel further appointments.

I have 6 months to go until my benefit appeal is heard. Then, if I win, they will check my bank accounts for the previous 6 months, and I don’t know if I’ll get in trouble for people giving me money. I usually ask people to write that it’s a gift just in case, but I don’t know if they’ll accept that. So from the end of this month I don’t think I feel safe accepting actual money. But actual money is the only way to get the car issue sorted. So if I can’t get enough by the end of this month, I’m screwed.

Getting the full amount seems so near but so far. if just 4 people donated £20 each, the target would be met this weekend. That would be a huge problem solved for me. I know everyone is hard up at the moment, but I thought I would ask again anyway as the situation is really causing me a lot of anxiety.
