I don’t think they’re an engineer themselves, but they’ve mentioned having engineer friends.
A lot of their stuff is commissioned as well so you never really know the source of the idea
I had a drafting instructor who could tell the length of cut lumber to within an 8th of an inch at a glance.
As-builts aren’t real anyway ;)
This angers me, not stuff that is off by a fraction of a degree but stuff like omitting an ENTIRE FUCKING MANHOLE or submitting the 75% plans without updating the field changes as as-builts. Also drawing the as-builts to look neater with straight lines rather than…as-built.
On the contrary, as-built is the only version that is almost, but not quite, entirely unlike reality.
