The article suggests it’s going to organise for the Deputy Leadership election. If so it’s a bit late given nominations close on Thursday. Anyway, I for one welcome our soft gooey lefty overlords.
labour: kicks out the left from the party
also labour: oh fuck the left votes.

Hey, at least they were able to come up with a name before having a row over transphobia. That’s apparently an accomplishment for the British left: https://www.thecanary.co/editorial/2025/09/07/your-party-transphobia/
Most members and forums have a pretty clear view on the subject.
It is that view that leads to desperate terfs etc posting publically. As they are getting banned from most groups.

Ahhh here we are. This is Momentum lite. Learning the lessons without learning the lessons.
Yeah, I’m wary of anything Lansman thinks is a good idea. Yet, as John McTernan argued, Momentum did have some genuine intellectual vibrancy - at least at the start. Question is whether its decay into typical boring shouty lefty group was inevitable or not.
That last thing we need is more power concentrated in the centre-left. So far, all we’ve seen is incompetence and cowardly pandering to fascists.
Where are these centre-lefts who have any power? The 1970s?
As opposed to incompetence and pandering to capitalists by the right?
I’d be happy if the centre-left opposed fascism more than it opposed democratic socialism.
Well… yeah!
I hope this does turn into Capitalists vs. Fascists and they both burn themselves out, maybe get some people in power who are intent on serving the people instead of themselves. Slim pickings tho.
