OK, well, any gender can like yaoi, but I mainly see it with women, which is why I ask. As a straight man, I have tried to get into yaoi but I don’t really find it attractive. Sure, I find it cute, but I don’t find it attractive nor do I find any of the male characters attractive. I recognize that each person will answer differently, but is it the fact that there’s attractive guys in yaoi? The storyline? What exactly?

I will answer as a straight man who finds yuri really cute. I’m a trans man, so I heavily related to yuri when I was a girl and I found it really cute as well. Maybe because I’m not into guys, I don’t understand yaoi and can’t fully appreciate it?

Never sure how to answer this one, since I’m bi and like f/f as well. I tend to like particular dynamics in romance, and men are more likely to be depicted having some of them. There are some other dynamics women are more likely to be depicted having with each other, and when I’m in the mood for those stories I read more f/f.

M here but… It’s like not being a foot guy and consuming something with a lot of that fan service. You can still appreciate aspects of it but not really get the whole thing cuz it’s not for you. Same goes for every other image tag. Yaoi is just Yuri for people who like boys.

With that said, go watch love stage. Plenty to appreciate even for those not yaoi obsessed
