The judges have rigged the courts against protesters while new laws and corrupt lawmakers have relentlessly persecuted climate, environmental, and israel protesters.

The accused is not allowed to give their rational for why they did it after high profile acquittals. Luckily these protesters won anyway but across the west the right to dissent is under assault.

And so they should too.
