Another fun fact about Trump’s age is that he was 18 when the Civil Rights Act was enacted. That’s right, the Civil Rights Act is younger than Trump. Some people, especially people my age, seem to think that segregation is some kind of ancient history. In reality, pretty much all of our grandparents, and sometimes even our parents, were raised in a time when racism was rampant. And now those same people had to watch as people of different races were allowed to pull themselves up in society and are now trying to “make America great again” like when they were kids.
