This reads like badly written exposition through dialogue. Not sure I buy it.

Not sure but it doesn’t fit the chain of events that were previously put out. They said he talked to his dad, then his dad had him talk to a pastor, and the pastor talked him into turning himself in… which this seems to say he said he was going to turn himself in before talking to his dad or anyone else. Although it is strange to print off texts and them not to have the time/date stamps. They had to alter the phone numbers to signify who was who sure, but why drop the time/dates when they are particularly relevant to when events occurred.
If the texts are real it somehow confirms the engravings were memes and that he had some kind of feelings for the roommate.
reads more like the roommate was a bit more than a roommate.
Ik I’m old and shouldn’t generalize people, but from my experience, young people type like shit and misspell a lot. This looks fake.
