The guests:

[Dick Gay], who had flown in for the event from Los Angeles and said he was one of the investors of Sperm Racing (which is an actual thing wherein men compete to see whose sperm is “fastest” under a microscope), said he attended the University of Austin, or UATX, an “anti-woke” college reportedly partially funded by Thiel, and built his career around the principles outlined in Thiel’s book “Zero to One.”

Attendee Justin Park said he just wanted to pitch Thiel on putting a 7.5-foot cross on the moon.

[Unnamed], who was in his 30s, said he wasn’t a Thiel fan until last year, when he became a Trump supporter after seeing the president survive an assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania. “I misunderstood [Thiel],” he said. “I used to watch CNN and think he’s a Nazi.” Now, he said, he understands the billionaire is talking about something bigger.

The Speech:

Apparently it was both repetitive and mostly a rehash of what he’s said in other media.

Yud is the Antichrist confirmed:

One attendee recalled that Thiel’s discussion of the Antichrist was more about a scenario than an individual. Thiel’s Antichrist scenario is one in which a unified government suppresses technology to impose order, or armageddon, wherein AI takes over and ushers in the end of the world.

Peter’s thoughts: Greta Thumberg and people like her with ethics could be the Antichrist and build a tyrannical authoritarian society so he’s creating a tyrannical authoritarian world with mass surveillance to prevent any possibility people who care about other people, ethics and the environment gain any power because they could be the Antichrist….so basically he is the Antichrist. He needs therapy and yoga. The journalist that wrote this doesn’t understand that the church of satan is satire and that’s lame.

Hiring your own ‘satanists’ to protest your own event is quite embarrassing tbh. (Is that a The Misfits cosplayer? Somebody has not kept up with Danzig latest escapades (he sold a black sun t-shirt apparently)).

I used to think Peter Thiel was a Nazi too.

I mean, I still think he is, but I also used to.

“I used to think he was a Nazi because of his actions, but then someone tried to kill the Nazi, so I support Nazis now.”

It suddenly strikes me that not even 20 years ago, this same type of guy would still have preferred being called “inventor” rather than “investor” (although it still would have been something equally useless)

Do you think he was crazy before the obscene wealth, or did the money drive him mad?

the historical record shows Thiel has literally always been like this

tried reading his '90s book once, managed a few pages
