That’s a pretty great heron there
I love herons. I used to work at a marina and they would sometimes come hang out on the docks with us. So long as we didn’t get too close, they’d stand there completely still until they’d lightning strike for a fish. More often than not they’d come up with one. Beautiful animals
Neat! Never seen one around salt water, but we do have an army of pelicans that hang right at the fisherman’s feet. Filthy beggars. :)
We had a monster blue heron break out of the trees and across our canoe path in the swamp. H U G E
