Yup. End of an era. I mean, it’s inevitable, it’s just the fact of life. Many countries rise and fall. Not all countries go extinct but many powers don’t regain their previous status. And that’s okay. It means being humble and not wanting to expand like a cancer. Just look at small countries like Switzerland, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, Scandinavia, Canada etc. They haven’t been in under any threat of a self-collapse since their inception. But big players such as Britain, Russia, USA and France, they either lost their status as powers or on the way to lose theirs as the case with USA. Like in any betting, the big players got too greedy with so much winning instead of quitting while ahead. (So, much for winning magats).
I am not American so it is easier for me to say this bleak outlook, but we have to prepare for what may come. Stay strong my American brothers and sisters.
