    lol you probably would have gotten away with it if you just used China’s history as another example of empire. But singling out ‘Han culture’ as the problem makes you look like a bigot. Especially when your example is from the Qing Dynasty, that was ruled by Manchus people, not Han.

      Also Zhang He wasn’t really a naval commander… I think he had a campaign against some pirates, but other than that he was just a general for the eastern han empire. Primarily fighting other ethnic Han people during the three kingdoms period.

      Kinda sounds like he got his Chinese history lesson from playing dynasty warriors or something.
