        I’m „them” (not American) and just do what I can so that news here are not so US-centric. It doesn’t really matter what things are called as long as meaning is conveyed properly and what US does lately is requiring lots of attention to keep up with conservative lingo.

          To that end, I’d say that the renaming of the department is significant, as it provides insight into their machinations.

            They’re plain as day regardless. I’ve also heard conservatives don’t like it if you don’t go along with how they want people to call things (like Elon Musk being very upset about deadnaming that bird site).
