I’ve never seen real world use of those flying turbines. What are their pros and cons compared to classic ones on the ground? What happens when it’s stormy?
The advantage is mainly the more steady winds at that hight.
But this is clearly meant as a temporary option that can be packaged in a shipping container and deployed after a disaster that took down a lot of infrastructure.

We just need to invest more into wind mining. The rich untapped wind reserves of the far north Yukon could be a boon to people the world over.
