Considering how many people talk at the theater (on their phone or to each other) I dunno that it’s that popular of an opinion. Maybe it’s a “rules for thee but not for me” attitude?

Ha just watched that video too. I think the laptop is probably an exceptional case… but then I’ve been let down by humanity before.

Bad post OP. This isn’t unpopular at all! AMC and Cinemark wonder why their stock is low and no one wants to go but then their managers sit on their asses while shit like this happens. They hire security and start kicking out people who intentionally ruin the movie experience then I’ll start going again, I’ll even bring my friend groups again. Until then, we have a better time at my home cinema.

Edit: From the downvotes apparently it is unpopular? Y’all are jerks in the theater. Go talk literally anywhere else.

We have a local one here where I do the same, it costs more but it’s a much better experience, and I’d rather give the indie house that cares more about the experience my money then a teenager-baby-sitting service that is AMC.
